About the Journal

Indonesian Journal of Fish Processing Technology (IJFPT) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Department of Fish Product Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Universitas Riau. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, and applied studies in the field of fisheries and marine product processing technology.
IJFPT focuses on the development and application of science and technology related to postharvest handling, processing, quality improvement, and utilization of fishery and marine resources. The journal accommodates studies in food chemistry and biochemistry, food microbiology, biotechnology, food safety, product development, and fisheries-based industry management that support innovation and sustainability in the fisheries and maritime sector.
The journal is published four times a year (January, April, September, and December) and accepts manuscripts written in English to enhance national and international scientific dissemination.
