About the Journal

Indonesian Journal of Fish Processing Technology (IJFPT) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Department of Fish Product Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Universitas Riau. The journal serves as a scientific platform for the dissemination of research findings, critical reviews, and applied studies related to the development of fisheries and marine product processing technologies.

The journal aims to support the advancement of science and technology in the utilization, processing, preservation, and quality improvement of fishery and marine resources. IJFPT encourages interdisciplinary studies that integrate food science, technology, and management aspects to promote innovation, competitiveness, and sustainability in fisheries-based and maritime industries.

IJFPT publishes manuscripts that contribute to scientific novelty, methodological development, and practical applications relevant to academics, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific integrity of published articles.

The journal is published four times a year (January, April, September, and December). IJFPT accepts manuscripts written in English to broaden its reach and enhance the dissemination of scientific knowledge at national and international levels.
