  • Paraphrasing substantial parts of another work without appropriate acknowledgment

  • Self-plagiarism, including redundant or duplicate publication without proper disclosure

  • Unauthorized use of figures, tables, or other copyrighted materials

Plagiarism Screening

All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software prior to the peer review process.

Acceptable Similarity Index

  • The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20%, excluding references, quotations, and commonly used methodological descriptions.

  • Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected at the editorial discretion.

Plagiarism Handling Procedure

If plagiarism is identified at any stage of the editorial process:

  • The manuscript will be rejected or returned to the authors for clarification or correction

  • The authors may be asked to revise the manuscript to reduce similarity

  • In cases of serious plagiarism, the manuscript will be rejected and the authors may be blacklisted from future submissions

Post-Publication Plagiarism

If plagiarism is detected after publication:

  • The article may be retracted following an investigation

  • A retraction notice will be published on the journal website

  • The authors’ institutions may be notified in accordance with ethical guidelines
